In conjunction with the Queen’s Gallery in Dundee, Catriona Millar has created a special set of five limited edition high quality, signed Giclee prints exclusive to the gallery. This is the first time a set of Catriona Millar’s prints has been created for a single gallery and the stunning series has been especially titled, ‘The Queen’s Collection’.
The Queen’s Collection encapsulates the unique work of one of the country’s most collectable, iconic painters and bears all the familiar hallmarks of superb colour and pattern combined with fascinating character invention that continue to make Catriona Millar such an engaging and well-loved artist.
The five beautiful prints represent different aspects of Catriona Millar’s figurative works and range from the relationship paintings ‘Bluebird’ and ‘Party Girls’, the rhythmic group ‘Daisy Chain’, the garden setting ‘Mathilde the Inquisitive’ and the recent solo portrait ‘The Promise Flower’. Each 42.5 x 62 cm print will be numbered as part of a limited edition of 20 and will be approved and signed by the artist.
